Credit Cards Fraud Analyst


A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced financial services Fraud Analyst to join the Macquarie.

You will Join a specialised team within our Banking and Financial Services Group and in this important role, you will be accountable for fraud prevention and detection across all payment channels for our credit and debit card platform.

Using your existing Card Fraud and Financial Crime experience you will be responsible for managing confirmed and suspected credit card and debt card fraud cases from end to end and you will utilize our fraud management systems and our databases to do so. Part of your role will involve verifying documentation for new applications if they have been referred to the team with fraud concerns and you will have the authority to decline the application if you consider it to be fraudulent.

The role will also offer you the opportunity to work with and manage key stakeholders, manage the dispute and charge-back process, assist with reporting, and analyse fraud trends and gain data insights.

You will be an excellent communicator with good people skills and the ability to work to deadlines within a busy and fast paced environment. You will be encouraged to ‘think differently’ when it comes to problem solving and your insights for process improvement will be welcome. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail will also be required for the role.

Working alongside strong leaders, this role will provide mentor-ship and training from a highly experienced team in Financial Crime.
