Manager - RRAP - Capital


You’ll be responsible for the preparation and preliminary review of Macquarie’s regulatory obligations to APRA. You’ll also support your team’s projects on new regulatory requirements, drive change initiatives across the team including process improvements and data analytics, and understand the regulatory requirements, interpretations and assumptions undertaken while meeting those requirements. You’ll also keep up to date with regulatory consultations and assist with interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements, ensure operational risks are managed from a controls assurance perspective and knowledge is shared with resources via cross training and team learning.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have outstanding academic background in a financial or accounting degree with 7 - 10 years of relevant experience. You should possess regulatory knowledge and experience in capital and RWA. You’ll have the ability to develop strong working relationships with team members and key internal clients including Compliance, the Systems team and business unit finance teams.


You’ll also possess strong people management and leadership skills, have strong attention to detail, be proactive and have the ability to see multiple tasks through to completion. Having experience in process improvement using tools like Alteryx, Power BI and Robotics would be advantageous.
