Senior Associate/Executive - Group Treasury, Capital Platforms


Join our Group Treasury Risk Reporting Analytics & Platforms team, as a highly motivated analyst to work in Capital Platforms. 

The Capital platforms team is a new and exciting capital data and system team that provides business intelligence to the Group Treasury and other Macquarie functions, to assist capital management within Macquarie. Your responsibilities would include:  

  • Active engagement with the data consumers to define capital data requirements.
  • Development of PowerBI reports (and the underlying data structure) to meet consumer data requirements.
  • Driving transition from legacy manual data queries to automated reporting solutions.
  • Ongoing support of ad-hoc data queries and end-to-end data analysis. 

This role will suit you if you are analytical, are commercially minded and enjoy problem solving.  Previous experience with the PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL, DAX code or equivalent technologies will be advantageous and experience in financial services or banking firm will be viewed favourably.

We ask that you have a track record of success in the workplace, combined with an outstanding academic background in a finance or quantitative degree (actuarial, accounting, commence, economics, engineering or mathematics or similar). You will have strong written and verbal communication skills alongside the ability to interpret and explain complex data. In addition, you will have superior stakeholder management skills.
