Leveraged Loan Closer


Come join our Macquarie Capital team in a highly visible role where you will have daily interaction with front office personnel as a Leveraged Loan Closer.

In this role you will be responsible for seeing loan transactions end to end, ensuring deals are booked, documents are in place and transactions settle on-time. In addition, to having daily interactions with front office personnel, you will also interact with external clients so possessing a strong professional image and communication style is key.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of primary loan syndication and secondary loan trading and settlement processes for loan trades, be process driven and flexible to changes in the loan market and possess a strong understanding of the leveraged loan market closing process. As well as having a strong understanding of credit agreements, ability to manage monthly and quarterly loan administration tasks and experience monitoring/investigating daily cash breaks and reconciling accruals.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar role
  • Knowledge of LSTA PAR Standard Terms and Conditions
  • Destressed Loan Closing experience and understanding
