Internal Audit Senior Manager


As a strong Internal Audit Senior Manager, you will plan and lead audits to assess the quality and effectiveness of the internal control framework supporting commodities and global markets businesses across Asia. You will partner with the broader Risk Management team and executives across the group, contributing to the continual improvement of the overarching risk management framework.

A strong grasp of audit and risk methodology will be essential. Key to your success in this role will be your strong knowledge of risks and control frameworks to mitigate theses for equities, fixed income, FX or commodities trading businesses (we do not expect you to have direct experience of all these businesses). Relevant experience will be considered from an external audit, consultancy or banking environment.

You will be comfortable in dealing with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions and location. You will demonstrate the ability to influence when required. While the role is based in Singapore, you will be joining an Internal Audit team that is represented in New York, London, Sydney, Hong Kong and India.

About the Risk Management Group

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit; Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
