We are looking for a strong Senior Manager to assist with the implementation of Anti-Bribery and Corruption (AB&C) Global Programme. The role will sit within Macquarie’s Global Financial Crime Risk team in Sydney, and will report to the Global Lead of AB&C.
The scope of the Senior Manager role is broad and covers implementation and oversight of the Global AB&C programme, including programme governance, policy development, training, oversight of monitoring and quality assurance.
The role will provide the opportunity to influence and shape Macquarie’s AB&C policies, controls and risk appetite, engage with senior stakeholders across all regions and business lines, apply AB&C knowledge across varied business activities and complex transactions and take a leading role in initiatives aimed at managing and enhancing current AB&C framework.
Key responsibilities of the Global AB&C function include management and maintenance of Macquarie’s global AB&C framework including maintenance of AB&C policies and procedures, AB&C related training, Monitoring and Quality assurance and oversight of AB&C related issues that arise on a day to day basis.
Specifically, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall implementation and enhancement of the Macquarie AB&C programme and framework, providing Subject Matter Expertise in relation to all areas of the AB&C Programme and assisting in responding to external and internal Programme enquiries, periodic review of the AB&C policies and procedure suite to ensure these are up to date and assisting with the delivery, publication and communication of new and revised policies, procedures, guidelines and the overall control framework.
You will also play a key role in assisting in conducting AB&C Risk Assessments and analysing thereafter the key B&C risks identified with the viewpoint of designing controls to mitigate these risks and designing and providing communication and training relating to AB&C programme and raising awareness of the programme globally.
To be successful in this role you will possess experience in AB&C compliance, working in Industry, legal and/or regulatory environment. Hold a sound knowledge of applicable global AB&C Laws, regulations and regulatory expectations in ANZ and Asia Pac and a good understanding of the FCPA and the UK Bribery Act and proven experience in Policy and Procedure writing and designing training content and a track record in excellent stakeholder management and building constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Experience of Asia Pac and ANZ AB&C issues would be an advantage.
