Corporate Accounting - FMG Americas

Join our newly created corporate finance team in Jacksonville, FL and take on an excellent entry-level opportunity to manage numerous regional accounting operations for a global investment bank.  

You will be responsible for managing the financial control/reporting risk as the business finance partner to the Corporate Operations Group. You will need to possess a willingness to learn and adapt to change while taking accountability of the delivery associated with their role. This role will require a high attention to detail and comfort while adapting to new technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • managing accounting processes such as journal entries, account reconciliations and associated product onboarding, for numerous global corporate products
  • performing management reporting on the Group’s corporate products and providing further insights from this reporting.
  • providing advisory to the Corporate Operations Group on potential accounting outcomes related to new products and business lines
  • managing regulatory, statutory and tax reporting outcomes for these corporate products
  • engaging and advising internal and external and stakeholders on associated reporting while maintaining appropriate approach to risk.

To this role, you will bring:

  • 1-2 years of accounting, finance, or equivalent operational experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • previous experience with major accounting software packages
  • familiarity with risks/controls associated with technology/data.

The Financial Management Group provides financial, tax and treasury services to all areas of Macquarie.
