Take the next step in your career and join the Finance Project Management team as a Functional Business Analyst. As an experienced Functional Business Analyst, you will join Macquarie’s Financial Management Group as part of the Projects and Change Team.
In this rewarding role, you will be involved in the Economic and Financial Statistics project, working to deliver accurate reporting, sourced from multiple business systems via a central repository. The project is currently in a remediation phase and the team is looking for an experienced problem-solver and functional requirements gatherer to join the current team of analysts. The subsequent stage of the project will focus on a Platform Enhancement phase to further improve EFS delivery for the business.
In this role you will work closely with the architecture, corporate data, technology and business unit delivery teams to deliver on solutions and timeframes. You will engage with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to align with requirements, supporting the design, build and testing phases; whilst ensuring compliance with standard processes.
To be successful for this role, you will be a qualified business analyst, and have 5 to 10 years’ experience within medium to large scale finance project roles. CA or CPA qualifications are advantageous, as are understanding key financial reporting functions like capital, liquidity, balance sheet reporting and regulatory filings. You will be a problem solver, with initiative and a flexible and proactive approach. Experience with data modelling especially in APRA taxonomy and/or Axiom would be highly regarded.
