Based in Luxembourg, our Real Estate team is looking for a corporate governance professional to join its European team.
This is a full time permanent role which forms part of a team of three company secretaries who are embedded in, and work closely with, MAM Real Estate global legal and specialist teams. You will be responsible for drafting documentation including agendas, board minutes, shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney and other standard corporate documents, along with liaising with executive assistants and directors in order to deliver an efficient and effective board meeting schedule across the Luxembourg entities. Other responsibilities include maintaining electronic databases and providing general administrative support within the governance team to take on greater transaction-related responsibilities.
You will be driven and self-motivated, degree educated with some 4-5 years of experience as a company secretary along with an understanding of, and interest in, corporate administration, financial services/domiciliation. You will be fluent in English in addition to German (or French) with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders both within and outside Macquarie at all seniority levels. You will have advanced skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat, be highly organised and resourceful with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
