Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis


We are looking for a high performing Senior Associate/Executive to join the Financial Planning & Analysis, Service Area Analytics & Reporting team that supports Macquarie's Service Areas across our Financial Management Group (Finance, Taxation, Group Treasury and Corporate Affairs). In this role you will pro-actively partner with a wide range of service area stakeholders to provide insights and analysis to help manage cost base and assist in the Financial Management Group strategy.

  • Preparation of monthly reporting for the group CFO and functional heads across the Financial Management Group
  • Partner with Functional Operational Leads to assist them in their financial management and planning
  • Support to the annual strategy, budget & semi-annual forecasting:
    • Work with budget owners in planning of headcount
    • Ensure accurate forecasting of non-headcount driven expenses
    • Assist with the recovery of costs to Operating Groups’ Forecast
  • Review and report monthly financial results for functional teams within Financial Management Group and provide meaningful insights into the cost base
  • Contribute to team deliverables including providing insightful commentary for reporting to the Group CFO and being involved in process improvement initiatives
  • Provide regular support and guidance to the Global Finance Services team in Gurugram
  • Liaise with Operating Group contacts regarding their monthly cost recoveries

Your experience will include working within a management reporting or financial planning & analysis role. Ideally you will have completed or be part way through your CA/CPA. Given the highly visible nature of this role within the business, you will be a confident communicator with strong relationship management skills.
