We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join a rewarding, innovative and dynamic role in the Group Assurance team within the Operational Risk & Governance Division.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead the development of the Operational Risk & Governance division’s Assurance’s strategic initiatives, working closely with global stakeholders and senior management across the Three Lines of Defence.
In this role, you will build the governance model for Assurance at Macquarie, establish an Assurance Centre of Excellence, and develop a data & innovation strategy.
We are looking for experience in Operational Risk, Internal and/or External Audit gained within an international financial institution and/or professional services firm, and hands on experience with innovative Assurance tooling including GRC systems and data analytics.
You will demonstrate tenacity, agility, and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment.
You will be a lateral thinker and confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as having the ability to initiate and lead conversations regarding anticipated and emerging challenges.
Your strong project management and organisational skills will enable you to support the team to deliver key strategic initiatives, identify dependencies and deliver outcomes to time and quality standards. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, present new ideas and work both independently as well as collaboratively within will be essential in this position.
