Corporate Development Analyst, Offshore Wind, Green Investment Group


Join our high performing and dynamic green energy business and play a crucial role in growing our offshore wind footprint in the Asia Pacific region.

The role is as an Analyst or Associate based in Singapore and part of Macquarie Group’s 100% owned global Offshore Wind platform, which is active across a number of Asia Pacific markets including Australia, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, and has a development pipeline of more than 10 gigawatt across the region. You will be responsible for taking ownership and accountability for modeling and valuation, structuring, due diligence, legal and commercial negotiations, arranging debt and equity financing, project administration and market analysis, and working as a core team member.  You will also have the opportunity to prepare lender / co-investor materials and be involved in internal credit approval process along with client interaction for ongoing mandates and new business development.

If you want to play a role in accelerating the rate of change and decarbonization in Asia, then this may well be the right role for you.  You will have an outstanding academic record in Banking, Finance or a relevant discipline, strong understanding of financial modelling and at least 2 years of relevant experience working within private equity, energy developer, utilities, leading corporate finance consultancy or investment banking. Previous exposure to the renewable energy sector would be strongly preferred.  Fluency in English and both written and verbal is essential.
