Join a team of highly experienced risk professionals to help lead the Enterprise Risk team. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with our global businesses across the Macquarie Group.
You will play a key role driving efforts to foster an outcomes-focused and risk aware culture, increase the visibility and advise the businesses on internal and external fraud risks.
You will be responsible for Macquarie’s Global Fraud policy, which includes the drafting, communication and governance of the policy as well as determining clear principles and oversight metrics to measure the effectiveness of the fraud policy and the appetite of fraud risk across the group.
You will assess the fraud risk profile and key processes and, where appropriate, act as a catalyst for change. The role will give you the opportunity to ensure that fraud risk and control self-assessments reflect the risk profile of the businesses, are current and comprehensive whilst analysing fraud incidents and issues across the business.
You will be an analytical and lateral thinker with problem solving consulting skills and an ability to grasp abstract concepts and complex situations. In addition, you will feel comfortable interpreting and balancing commercial issues within the risk framework whilst being able to demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory environment in which Macquarie operates.

About the Risk Management Group
The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
