Gas Pipeline and Actualization Associate

In this role, you will be responsible for entering contracts, verifying all pipeline invoices, reconciliation of settlement invoices, customer statements, supply / transportation records and special projects as assigned.

You will also work closely with gas schedulers to ensure all pipeline scheduling is performed in a timely and accurate manner as well as communicate with external suppliers and markets to ensure that contractual nomination data is coordinated properly and that all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

Additionally, you will perform daily monitoring of natural gas settlements to ensure the timely and accurate settlement of all physical transactions related to retail gas. Your ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies whilst following up until resolution of settlement breaks and post settlement adjustments will serve you well in this role.

 

We are looking for qualified candidates with relevant 1-2 years of Energy experience. You must have the capability to work in a fast-paced environment coupled with the ability to work well under pressure. Previous exposure to physical energy markets are preferable.

 

We need someone with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A motivated, self-starter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are key attributes, as well as the ability to follow procedures and act with a high level of personal accountability and ownership of the role.
