Assistant Branch Administrator- 1 Year Contract

Overview

Provide day to day assistance in all areas of administration support reporting to the Branch Administrator. The successful candidate will possess a professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills in a fast paced environment, with a strong emphasis on organization.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

 responsible for various intermediate administrative functions (maintaining filing system, assembling reports, handling / tracking correspondence, etc.)

 prepare, edit, and create documents such as meeting minutes, training schedules, record keeping, information bulletins, information packages, manuals, etc.

 meeting organization & coordination

 assist in branch events & conferences

 performing premise related responsibilities

 maintain confidential filing and audit related material

 assist in coordination of new employee onboarding

 participation in other project/miscellaneous tasks as assigned

 assist with covering Reception, when needed

Education/Certification:

 College/University Degree or equivalent work experience

 successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course an asset

 general knowledge of the financial industry

Position Qualifications:

 proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

 excellent communication and organizational skills

 high initiative and efficiency, with attention to accuracy and detail

 solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment

 ability to work under pressure with multitask
