Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie's retail client base in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe.
Products and services include wealth management, stockbroking and retail lending and banking solutions such as residential and commercial mortgages, investment lending, credit cards and relationship banking to businesses and professionals.
Meet, greet and direct all visitors (vendors, clients, staff)
Answer a busy switchboard and deal with questions in a helpful manner
Manage meeting room calendars and meeting requirements
Maintain meeting rooms / reception area
Assist with facility requests
Distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail and couriers
Daily cheque deposits
Responsible for various administrative duties including invoicing, word processing, internet research tasks, fax distribution
Other duties as required
Must be comfortable working with the public in a high energy, fast paced work environment
A friendly, and professional individual with an excellent and welcoming attitude
Flexible and adaptable to change with excellent problem solving abilities
A motivated individual, with a high level of initiative, with excellent organizational skills
Basic accounting capabilities
Desire to provide high level of service to Investment Advisors, staff and clients
Ability to think ahead, and anticipate possible outcomes
Good time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines
Understands the sense of urgency
Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel is desirable)
Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate professionally, in a clear and concise manner
Overall interest/experience in the financial industry is an asset
University Degree/Diploma or equivalent financial services experience
CPH certification is an asset
