CLIENT MANAGER

Corporate and Asset Finance, a division within Macquarie, provides innovative and traditional capital, finance and related services to clients operating in selected international markets. With offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe, Corporate and Asset Finance specialises in:

*  Leasing and asset finance
*  Tailored debt and finance solutions
*  Asset remarketing, sourcing and trading 

The  equipment leasing division has a Client Manager role available in Toronto. The Client Manager will focus on customer service to existing accounts, from documenting the lease transaction at lease inception through to end of lease processes.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:

  • managing existing leases through to cessation (incl. contract administration, invoicing, account reconciliations and reporting, coordinate funding, asset return management, vendor management and fielding general enquiries)
  • ensuring all documentation, system requirements and internal controls are satisfied for both existing, ongoing and new business
  • supporting sales staff (for both existing and prospective customers) 

Functional/Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong client service orientation (build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally)
  • Excellent numeric, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional multitasking and organisational abilities with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to follow tasks through to completion and flexibility to work beyond standard business hours as needed
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to deliver quality support with enthusiasm 
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a continually changing and competitive environment
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or other related disciplines
  • 2 years experience working in a professional environment (leasing or finance industry preferred but not essential) 
  • Intermediate level MS Excel and MS Word (MS PowerPoint preferred but not essential)
