The Technology Division is responsible for the management of Macquarie's technology infrastructure, the support and development of existing business systems and the delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services. It comprises business aligned teams which provide dedicated and specialist services to businesses as well as central teams which provide shared services, such as infrastructure, to multiple businesses.
The Test Lead role is within the division, a team dedicated to meeting the technology needs of the Banking and Financial Services Group in Canada. The Banking and Financial Services Group is a market leader in retail financial services excelling in the provision of holistic wealth management, portfolio management and stock broking services.

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead who will be excited by this challenge to:
Contribute to the delivery of IT projects in the Retail Wealth Management area by ensuring the technical solution meets quality objectives in regards to functionality, performance, security, accessibility and data
Ability to lead a small team of testers (including offshore or third party testers)
Complete project quality analyst deliverables, including test strategy, test planning, data preparation and test execution.
Oversee all phases of functional and non-functional testing
Work within Macquarie organization and partners to increase the level of test automation
Ability to track and report on test progress, and effectively prioritize between test issues
Work closely with a team of project managers, business analysts, developers and testers
Adhere to project delivery methodologies
Escalate technical risks and issues to the Project Manager as required
Increase the quality focus of project delivery by improving test methodologies, tools and level of test automation
Computer degree and ITIL certification essential
At least 3 years testing experience in the Retail Wealth Management area
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and results-driven environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Knowledge of Retail Wealth Management systems in Trading, Portfolio Management and/or Back-Office
