Sales Coordinator, Macquarie Premium Funding

As a result of continued growth, Macquarie Premium Funding (MPF) is looking for a bright and ambitious Sales Coordinator to join the Toronto Sales Team. 

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will use your knowledge of administration to provide support to the MPF Sales Team. You will receive training on New Broker acquisition administration, general reporting, and sales administrative support as well as MPF products and services.

 

Formerly Insurance Pay Canada Inc., Macquarie Premium Funding's North American head office is located in Toronto, with local representatives in Montreal and Vancouver.  MPF works with industry leading organizations to provide simple and affordable ways for clients to pay their insurance premiums. We are dedicated to providing solutions that support the independent insurance broker network in Canada. This dedication is demonstrated through innovative web solutions and system integrations making premium finance a valuable tool for MPF brokers.

As a Sales Coordinator, your role will include:

 

Ø       Assisting, in conjunction with marketing, with the development and distribution of new marketing documents, refreshing existing marketing collateral and some event management (predominantly trade shows) as well as key broker communications;

Ø       Maintenance of the Promotional Portal;

Ø       Travel planning and booking for the Sales team;

Ø       Monthly AMEX reconciliation for the Sales Team;

Ø       Payment / reconciliation of vendor invoices; 

Ø       Maintenance of, training and ongoing refinement/development of Salesforce CRM application;

Ø       Updating and maintaining key databases;

Ø       Performing administration of broker acquisition including required client set up and software integration (if applicable);

Ø       Producing various daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and other ad hoc reports within agreed timely deadlines;

 

You will have:

 

Ø       University degree preferred;

Ø       Minimum 2 years experience within the financial services sector, preferably supporting the marketing and/or sales departments;

Ø       Thorough knowledge of marketing initiatives (including documentation, collateral, and events) as well as products and services;

Ø       Strong attention to detail and time management skills;

Ø       Superior communication skills both verbal and written;

Ø       Excellent relationship building skills;

Ø       Strong team orientation and collaboration is a must;

Ø       Ability to take initiative and work independently;

Ø       Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word and Access (Access would be beneficial, but not required);

Ø       Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software (Salesforce Knowledge highly desired);

Ø       Very motivated and goal-oriented professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced, results-driven work environment.
