Macquarie's Banking & Financial Services (BFS) in Canada comprises several businesses, including Macquarie Financial (residential mortgages), Macquarie Premium Funding (commercial insurance premium financing), and Macquarie Global Investments (innovative investment products). The businesses are experiencing strong growth with a well positioned framework for the introduction of other high-margin banking and financial services products. To support this growth, the Macquarie BFS Canada business is seeking a results-driven individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
As a result of continued growth, Macquarie Financial is looking for a bright and ambitious Processing Administrator to join the Toronto Operations Team. You will use your strong document processing and customer service orientation to better assist our clients.
As a Processing Administrator, your role will include:
- Assisting in the administration of changes to mortgage files as requested by clients (i.e. payment collection, changes to frequency and amount, renewals)
- Preparing and issuing of statements and amortization schedules
- Verifying all payment and postings to appropriate accounts
- Working with solicitors and external vendors in preparing legal documentation for registration purposes for discharge of charge
- Processing of negotiable items received
- Preparing daily deposits, client correspondence and cheque requisitions for promotional offerings
- Meeting service level objectives and monthly audit score results
- Adhering to approved processes and audit requirements
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of company policies and products
- Other administrative duties as required
You will have:
- A college diploma and/or 1-3 years experience in the financial industry, preferably in
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous financial processing and/or administration experience
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- A proactive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work, and a desire to go the extra mile in customer service
- Self motivation and attention to detail
- The ability to build strong relationships with team members and internal and external customers
- Strong organizational, and abstract reasoning skills
- Ability to multitask in a high volume environment
- A flexible attitude towards change and the ability to adapt to new situations
- Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and MS Word
- Bilingual French/English would be a strong asset
