Senior Marketing Manager

Macquarie's Banking & Financial Services Group is building its team of the most respected professionals in the industry as it strives towards its goal of becoming the leading provider of financial products and services Canadians.  To support its growth, Macquarie's Marketing group is seeking a results-driven individual to assume the position of Senior Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Macquarie Financial Ltd., our Mortgage Lending business, and working closely with senior sales and operations stakeholders, the Senior Marketing Manager will be accountable for:

•  Channel Management â€" Be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies to meet sales and organizational objectives specific to third party mortgage brokers and targeted consumer direct communities.

•  Retention Strategy â€" Determine customer base management and retention strategy, and tactical implementation by collaborating with Customer Service, Information Technology, Finance and Marketing counterparts.

•  Collateral - Coordinate the preparation, production, and maintenance of marketing collateral.

•  Customer Communication â€" Coordinate direct communication (i.e., secure messaging, email, direct mail) for all new and existing customers.

•  Customer Satisfaction - Improve customer satisfaction and program operational efficiencies via direct marketing channel activity.

•  Results Reporting â€" Establish objectives and evaluate, budget, forecast and communicate all relevant financial and customer results metrics.

Ideal candidate qualifications will include:

•  Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required; an MBA is a decided asset;

•  10 or more years of progressively more responsible experience in multi-channel marketing, predominantly B2C campaigns, and at least 5 years directly managing loyalty programs and large scale direct marketing campaigns with expertise in email communications;

•  Related industry experience: banking, insurance, lending, credit, wealth management, investment and funds products;

•  Exceptional communication abilities - written, verbal, presentation and facilitation skills;

•  Strong leadership skills and experience managing staff;

•  Excellent time management skills and flexibility in their work approach;

•  Superior qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; 

•  Influencing skills â€" ability to set the tone for change and inspire others to want the same results

•  Thrives in a challenging, fast paced, results driven work environment.
