Macquarie Securities Group encompasses Macquarie's Institutional and corporate stockbroking, equity derivatives and equity finance capabilities. Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) was formed in April 2008 from the merger of the Equity Markets Group and Macquarie Capital Securities. Within MSG, the central Projects team works closely with the business to deliver strategic projects across a global business. We are currently seeking one Lead Business Analyst, and one Business Analyst to join the Sydney team.
Working as part of this central team, you will be dedicated to the TLM SmartStream implementation project. More specifically this will include:
- Defining business requirements and functional design
- Assisting with the development of test Strategy and plans
- Working with the development teams to ensure business needs are met
- Defining and enhancing business processes
- Supporting delivery by investigating and resolving issues
- Researching, developing and implementing reconciliations best practice
- Improving trade reconciliation controls and control design
Ideally you will have:
- Experience implementing a reconciliations system. TLM SmartStream experience would be advantageous
- Recent Business Analysis experience ideally within equity financial markets
- Detailed knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
- Sound knowledge of project methodologies, frameworks and tools
- Experience liaising with senior project and business stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, business, IT or a comparable field
- For the more senior role, strong leadership skills, along with high levels of initiative and drive.
