We are looking for Business Analysts to join our Macquarie Capital Group.

Macquarie Capital Group is an expanding global division that offers graduates a dynamic working environment and exposure to multi-million dollar cross-border transactions. Macquarie Capital provides a depth of service including specialist capabilities in project financing, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and corporate restructuring advice, specialised fund management, leasing and structured finance.

Two areas within the Macquarie Capital Group include:

Macquarie Capital Advisors - This division is comprised of our advisory, equity and debt capital markets, and execution teams; opportunities are available in Toronto and Calgary.

Macquarie Capital Funds - Our asset and investment management teams, similar to private equity fund managers, engage in active strategic management of businesses across a portfolio of investment funds.  Investment professionals are also involved in the analysis and execution of opportunities including acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring; opportunities in Toronto.

Macquarie is the recognized leader in global infrastructure acquisition, financing and management and is one of the world’s largest non-government owners and managers of infrastructure assets.

These assets span a wide range of sectors and geographies and include international airports, major toll roads, electricity and gas utilities, and ports.

To be successful, you will:

  • Have studied Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Accounting, Economics and/or Law
  • Possess strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Have developed strong communication skills
  • Display strong presentation skills
  • Be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Be regarded as an outstanding performer amongst your peers
  • Be proactive, driven and entrepreneurial
  • Prior work experience in Investment Banking, Sales and Trading, or Accounting is preferred but not necessary
