Adviser Services Consultants

The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie’s retail client base with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe. BFS provides a diverse range of retail banking and wealth management products and services to intermediaries, businesses and the end consumer.

Cash & Insurance Operations (CIO) within BFS Service and Operations, is responsible for the communications and processing functions for Independent Financial Advisers and their clients.  Products serviced from ACS include the Cash Management Trust (CMT), Cash Management Account (CMA), Cash XL, Term Deposits, Managed Funds, Superannuation, and Alternative Assets.

Due to significant growth, multiple opportunities have arisen for Adviser Services Consultants to join our CIO team.

The primary responsibility of an Adviser Services Consultant is to answer inbound and initiate outbound telephone calls and manage communication with IFAs and clients, providing exceptional service, problem solving, and answering queries in relation to a range of investments including Macquarie’s cash products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to adviser and client enquiries by phone and email
  • Ensure consistent delivery of solution focused service with end to end accountability
  • Provide accurate information and addressing issues in a timely manner
  • Develop strong relationships with advisers and clients
  • Make outbound service calls to advisers and clients for follow ups
  • Record accurate information for adviser and client requested transactions
  • Refer requests or requirements to other departments for action as necessary

Ideally, you will have:

  • Tertiary studies or qualifications, preferably within business such as finance and economics
  • A history of high achievement and a reliable and adaptable work ethic
  • Polished and professional communication skills
  • A true passion for providing personalised and exceptional customer service
  • An appetite for a long term career within financial services
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Enthusiasm and desire to be part of a successful team
