Join our supportive and high performing Financial Management Group as a Regional Finance Senior Manager based in Hong Kong.
Working in a fast paced, challenging environment you will be required to develop a practical understanding of the operations of the different Macquarie businesses and analyse how the group sources funding. Co-ordinating with stakeholders internally you will be responsible for reviewing existing capital structures and funding in Asia and identifying opportunities to simplify and improve current processes.
As a Regional Finance Senior Manager, you will be required to support Country Finance with capital changes and corporate actions including advising internal stakeholders around tax, hedging and funding, regionally and globally. You will also provide support around management reporting and analysis of monthly results. Working closely with the Central Executive Group and the Regional CEO office, you will support preparing presentations around business results for internal and external audiences.
The Regional Finance Manager will also be required to take ownership of key funding and capital related projects in Asia for Group Treasury, acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.
With a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and a qualified accountant, you will have proven experience within a finance role, ideally within Financial Services. An understanding of a broad range of topics including, legal entity control, funding, tax, FX management and advisory experience would be extremely advantageous.
You will be a strong relationship builder with the ability to influence and work with various stakeholders across all levels and regions. You will also possess strong analytical skill, technical accounting knowledge and hands-on finance experience with an understanding of financial markets.
