As a Vice President or Senior Vice President within our Infrastructure and Real Assets division, you will have primary responsibility for the debt capital management strategy for its infrastructure asset portfolio in the Americas. Your role will involve working with sector the investment teams and portfolio company management to structure and execute financing transactions for new acquisitions and existing portfolio companies.

More specifically, you will focus on analyzing capital structure alternatives (including oversight of related financing modeling) of new/existing portfolio investments, oversee the structuring, negotiation and documentation of financing packages, assist in developing and implementing appropriate hedging strategies, and help develop and maintain our lender relationships. You will also assist portfolio company management in optimizing capital structures and sourcing debt capital to finance growth.  More broadly, you will work with the investment teams to help develop the investment thesis and business plan, and manage transaction structuring and execution.

You will possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, an interest in investing, and the ability to acquire new skills, whilst having the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Additionally, you will have a minimum 6-8 years’ experience in investment banking, project finance, commercial banking, or private equity with a focus on debt structuring and execution across funding markets.

You will also have infrastructure and related sector experience, with strong familiarity with financial and cashflow modeling. You will be highly numerate with a thorough understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance and business reporting, have experience with rating agency analysis and interactions, with well-rounded exposure to buy-side M&A analysis, due diligence, and transaction financing. You will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong relationship building skills, including developed relationships with debt finance providers, sound business judgment and a pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving. Finally, you will have a bachelor’s degree, or higher, from top tier university in finance/accounting or quantitative field.
