As a Risk Management Origination Analyst, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment on primarily energy-related transactions and exposures; this may include power, natural gas, oil, renewables or combinations thereof.  These transactions may involve Macquarie's Energy Markets Division, Macquarie Capital, Macquarie Fund entities or Macquarie Corporate and Asset Finance. You will be involved in assessing new and reviewing existing trading counterparts, project finance transactions, equity investments and the related documentation and due diligence for each type of assessment.  These assessments would include financial risk, commercial risk, industry risk and country risk.

This position will allow you to leverage your 2-5 years of experience in project finance, structured transaction and asset due diligence as part of our team. Our team values an entrepreneurial spirit, strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and model auditing. Experience with and knowledge of energy markets, asset-related contracts, construction/development of energy assets and related documentation is a powerful asset in this role, as are knowledge of trading and trading concepts, including derivatives.
